On July 8, 2010 Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, LLC, announced the promotion of Brian R. Tipton, Esq. to Managing Partner. Mr. Tipton was elevated to his new leadership role at the Firm's yearly retreat. He has been a partner with the Firm for more than six years and brings experience, insight, and valuable leadership to the rapidly growing law firm, which maintains five offices in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
As Managing Partner, Mr. Tipton's role will increase dramatically with a broad scope of responsibilities. Most importantly, Mr. Tipton will focus on the Firm's overall direction using the skills and knowledge he has acquired in his eleven years as an attorney and successful litigator. Mr. Tipton's practice areas include complex and general litigation, real estate and land use law, employment law, Federal Employer's Liability Act (FELA) defense, public entity representation, and commercial transactions.
The Firm's founder and senior partner, former NJ Governor Jim Florio observed that, "Mr. Tipton's promotion is the next logical step in our Firm's evolution. Prior to joining Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, LLC, Mr. Tipton worked at law firms in NY and NJ. He is a two-term Mayor of Harmony, NJ and a former Chairman of the Harmony Township Planning Board. |

SPOTLIGHT ON:
Brian R. Tipton
 Mr. Tipton is a partner with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader and chairs the firm's Litigation Defense Group focusing on matters involving insurance defense, employment law, Federal Employer's Liability Act (FELA) defense, commercial law and other general litigation matters. In addition, Brian is a member of the Education Practice Group, where he is lead counsel to the Warren County Special Services School District handling all aspects of general counsel and special education related legal services. Brian also works with the Real Estate and Land Use Practice Group where he focuses on the areas of land use, real estate and zoning.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian was an associate for five years at the law firm of Fischbein Badillo Wagner Harding in Phillipsburg, N.J. He was a member of that firm's litigation group, handling a variety of matters involving real estate and land use, commercial litigation and employment law.
Brian received his undergraduate degree from Washington College and his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School. While in law school, Brian worked as a law clerk for Florio & Perrucci, P.C., in Piscataway, N.J.
Brian is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Warren County, N.J. Bar Association and the Northampton County, P.A., Bar Association.
Brian is the Mayor of Harmony Township, N.J. Previously, he served on the Harmony Township Land Use Board for three years, including two years as chairman.
