Firm Congratulates Partner On His New Leadership Role

NJ The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) has selected firm partner, Louis Cappelli, Jr., Esq., to lead the Commission through the next fiscal year. Mr. Cappelli will take over this leadership role effective July, 2009. Mr. Cappelli is the Managing Partner of Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C.'s Southern New Jersey office.
The DVRPC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Delaware Valley, which includes nine counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania; and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer in New Jersey. Metropolitan Planning Organizations ensure that existing and future expenditures for transportation projects, the promotion of smart growth, protection of the environment and the enhancement of the economy are based on a continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive ("3-C") planning process. Federal funding for transportation projects and programs are channeled through this planning process.
Mr. Cappelli's new leadership role with the DVRPC increases his numerous contributions to the firm, including his extensive experience in education, governmental and regulatory affairs, real estate, family, personal injury and worker's compensation law. He has served as prosecutor and planning board attorney in nine municipalities. Mr. Cappelli currently serves as general counsel to the combined Board of Education of the Special Services School District and the Vocational District of the County of Gloucester. He also brings to the firm a history of favorable results for clients in personal injury and workers compensation matters.
Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C. was founded by Governor
James J. Florio who has extensive environmental and legislative
experience and Michael J. Perrucci who is one of the Mid-Atlantic
region's leading litigators. Douglas J. Steinhardt joined the
firm as a named partner in August 2005, and Paul T. Fader joined
as a named partner in January 2006 after serving as Chief Counsel
